Profile
He studied and conducted research at Scuola Normale Superiore (Pisa). His research interests revolve around German and Italian idealism (Schelling, Hegel, Spaventa, Gentile, Croce), German phenomenology (Husserl, Scheler) and contemporary Italian ontology (Severino, Sasso), considered both in historical and theoretical sense. He has published three books (Gentile, Corriere della Sera, Milano 2015; La rinascita dell'idealismo, Carocci, Roma 2017; Idealismo, Edizioni della Normale, Pisa 2018) and many articles. He has also had various collaborations with Treccani and attended many national conferences. In 2021, he obtained the national scientific qualification to associate professor in the 11/C5 sector. Since 2024, he works in Florence at Istituto Nazionale di Studi sul Rinascimento, where he directs the Centro di ricerca sulla filosofia italiana. In the same year, he won the Feltrinelli Giovani Award for Philosophical Sciences from the Accademia dei Lincei.
