STATEMENT:
Brunori made numerous seminal contributions to the biochemistry and biophysics of proteins, with discoveries in structural dynamics, folding, function and evolution. His studies have provided important insights into physiological adaptation of proteins, biological electron transfer and cell respiration, protein dynamics via time-resolved X-ray crystallography, and protein folding mechanisms.
