Giorgio Parisi will be awarded the Golgi Prize

Giorgio Parisi will be awarded the Golgi Prize on Friday 10 April 2026 at 10.30 am in the Aula Magna of the University of Pavia. The Prize, established in the year of the celebrations marking the centenary of Camillo Golgi, the first Italian Nobel laureate in Medicine, is intended to recognise the most significant works of scientific non-fiction.

Parisi is being awarded the prize for his book ‘Hidden Symmetries: Why Physics Lies at the Roots of Artificial Intelligence Today and Tomorrow’
